MINISTRIES

One of the best ways to ‘Get Connected’ at The Potter’s House is to jump in and get involved. The Potter's House exists as a local congregation to witness to the world the love of God as revealed in His Son Jesus Christ, our crucified, risen, exalted, and soon-returning Savior and King. We seek to teach the Word of God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

Our goal is the shaping and equipping of our church family so that disciples will be nourished and empowered to fulfill their God-ordained purpose. As members of the church, our desire is to bring glory to God through our public and private lives. We do this by rejoicing in Christ Jesus; increasing in the knowledge of God through the study and application of the scriptures; by growing in Godly character; by practicing Biblical fellowship; by serving one another with our spiritual gifts, our time, and our money; by proclaiming the Gospel in Salina, California and to the ends of the earth.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

 

Children are the hope of our future, so we aim to give them a solid foundation of Bible understanding. In order to facilitate this, we provide a children's church ministry during the Sunday Morning service that helps them to learn in a context and style suitable for them. This includes music, games, and object lessons.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & STREET PREACHING

 

In addition to our weekly services, we focus on personal evangelism throughout the city every Saturday afternoon. During the summer we have many outreach ministries that focus on preaching the neighborhoods. Gospel in local parks, gathering-places, and neighborhoods.

 

Every Saturday Outreach starts at 3:00 PM

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

 

Periodically, Adult Sunday School is held 1 hour before church service for the deepening of bible knowledge and relationship with Jesus through specific bible themes and current spiritual issues. The aim of this ministry is for the equipping of the saints to handle everyday challenges of life. 

MEN'S DISCIPLESHIP
​

It has become an issue of great importance for men everywhere to be faithful, righteous, and honor God with their lives. For this reason, The Potter's House is about training and equipping men to become biblical spiritual leaders where it matters most. We are focused on developing men who are serious about living a Christian life and make a positive impact for this and the next generation. This extends into their homes, our church, their schools, and place of employment.
